They match my son's room perfectly and fit just right only complaint is that they smell horrible, I’ve had them a while and they still stinkDef sturdy and can hold a nice amount but I can’t use them until the smell goes away.Strong odor from the leather handles makes these smell terrible - tried to air them out in he sun but they still smell up the room -These appear as nice storage cubes, look great, fit well in cubby shelf, but the big problem is the smell. The cubes smell like poop and still do after several weeks. I was hoping they would air out but they have not.Was excited to put these in my 2 year old's room to organize his toys with but when we they arrived and we opened them there was an moldy odor to them. We tried cleaning them and washing them but the smell wouldn't go away.I have tried two name-brand, extra strength products that claim to eliminate fabric odors and I left them outside in the sun for a full day. They still smell! This is not acceptable for my walk-in closet. I am so disappointed and they are going back.My wife and I had some storage cubes we had bought online years ago which were kind of flimsy and showing their age. She saw these and decided to get some newer bins to go in our “new” house. We were pleasantly surprised not only by how attractive they were, but also at their sturdiness compared to the others.The bins came tightly packed in an impossibly small bag, so I was skeptical of their quality at first. But once my wife opened them up and put in the bottoms, we were both amazed at how much thicker and stronger the walls are. The gray and white sections contrast nicely, and the leatherette straps with the rivets make them look even more classy. They look good in our closet, since they coordinate well with the white shelves and gray cabinets.My only complaint (and my wife thinks it’s silly) is: Now I can’t my socks, underwear and clothes that are in the bin. She says that’s why we got them, to neaten up our closet. But for me, “Out of sight is out of mind,” so I forget what I have. Oh well!I do think the current price of almost $34 is steep. That makes these bins about $8.50 apiece. They are exceptional quality, but I’d rather they were more economical.I love using storage cubes on my shelves. They make my shelves look cleaner and less cluttered. Having two kids and their toys all around -- my desk seems like a dumping ground for "art projects" (aka clutter).I bought these cubes because the handles seem sturdier -- the ones that I have now, are disintegrating.These cubes are a lot studier than the ones that I have currently. The ones that you usually see being sold are made with the light material that just flakes after a few years. This material feels sturdier and should last longer.It comes in different sizes, which is perfect as I have different shelving all over the house. I can buy the 11x11 for my desk and the 12x12 for the bedroom shelves and it will coordinate.I also like that there are handles in the from and the back. This makes it easier with trying to carry them around. Especially my misc. wire cube -- that one tends to be heavier so having two handles (front and back) is a must.The only con that I can see is the stitching. Loose threads are easily cut off, but the handles are warped-looking. I'm hoping it will settle in with time.
